Community Guidelines
Anything you post where other gardeners can see it — build photos, featured gardens, seed swap listings, tips — is public. Keep it something you'd be happy showing at a neighborhood garden club.
The rules
- Keep it garden-related — plants, beds, builds, harvests, pets and people in the garden are all welcome.
- No nudity, sexual content, or anything you wouldn't show a kid at a farmers market.
- No hate speech, harassment, threats, or slurs of any kind.
- No violence, gore, or animal cruelty.
- No illegal drugs, drug growing, alcohol promotion, tobacco, or weapons.
- No spam, scams, MLM pitches, or unrelated advertising.
- Only post photos you took or have the right to post. No copyrighted or stolen images.
- Don't post other people's private info — addresses, phone numbers, or faces of kids who aren't yours.
Reporting something
Every public photo and post has a Report button. Pick a reason, add a note if you want, and it lands in our review queue. We look at reports daily and remove anything that breaks the rules.
Featured garden submissions are reviewed before they ever go public. Everything else is checked after the fact through reports.
What happens if you break them
First time, we usually just remove the post. Repeat or serious violations (sexual content, hate, anything involving minors, illegal activity) mean losing posting access permanently, and we report illegal material to the proper authorities.
